Scodwell USA has for years made a world class flugelhorn incorporating the innovative tunable lower branch. Parts for this instrument were made to Scodwell’s specifications by the Kanstul company and due to Kanstul closing their doors recently has begun the challenge for Scodwell to find new manufacturing sources. We are pleased to announce that the newest iteration of this flugelhorn design will soon be in production and photos of the prototype will be posted on the website. The new flugelhorn will also feature the tunable lower branch and same leadpipe design with the bell being made from the same mandrel as before.
